Hyatt's non-smoking guarantee is as follows:
Offered to all guests of Hyatt hotels and resorts. The non-smoking guarantee is based on availability at time of reservation. If a guest requests a non-smoking room at time of reservation and a hotel is unable to honor the request at time of check-in, in the U.S. and Caribbean, the guest will receive a choice of either 5000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points or a USD$100 Hyatt Gift Card. In hotels outside of the U.S. and Caribbean guests will be offered their choice of either 5000 World of Hyatt Bonus Points or USD$50 food and beverage credit (CAD$100 in Canada). The food and beverage credit outside the U.S., Caribbean and Canada will be the equivalent of USD$50 food and beverage credit in local currency. No change will be given if full credit is not used. In order to qualify for the guarantee, the guest's non-smoking preference must be included with the reservation. Reservations made through Meeting Planners, travel agents, and wholesalers must include the non-smoking preference in order to be included in the guarantee. The guarantee is not valid on reservations booked through third party websites such as, but not limited to, Expedia, Priceline, and Hotels.com. A guest who makes a reservation on the same day he/she plans to arrive at the hotel, or a guest who walks in to a hotel without a reservation is not eligible to receive the guarantee. If a member believes that compensation is due with respect to the non-smoking room preference guarantee, he/she must request payment of the compensation while still a guest at the hotel, prior to checking out. Failure to request such payment prior to check out will result in a complete waiver of any right to receive such compensation. Limited non-smoking rooms may be available during certain high demand periods or special events. Only one registered guest per room may receive compensation pursuant to this guarantee during a stay, regardless of the number of people in the room or the duration of the stay. Hyatt reserves the right to alter or withdraw this program at any time without notice.
Generally, the minimum age to reserve a guestroom at Hyatt is 21 years old. However, this age may vary by hotel. Please check the specific policy of the hotel you plan to visit. A person of the minimum age requirement must be present at check-in and become a registered guest in the room.
Yes, you may pay for another guest's room with your credit card. Simply complete the Hyatt Credit Card Authorization Form, sign it and fax it to the hotel. The hotel fax number will automatically populate on the form when you select a hotel. We require customers to submit this form for their own credit card protection. Some properties do not accept the Hyatt Credit Card Authorization Form. If the property you are looking for is not listed in the form’s drop-down menu, please contact the property directly to arrange payment.
Credit card authorization forms are used if the guest holding the reservation is not paying for the room. For a third-party individual to pay for a room, he or she must complete the Hyatt Credit Card Authorization Form, sign it and fax it to the hotel or, if the applicable property does not accept the form (as described above), must contact the property directly to arrange payment.
